We give your pet an at home feel while you are away. English Acres is a low stress, highly interactive environment for your dog to play in. Offering small groups, one on one attention, hikes in the woods, training and grooming for optimum health, your pet will think they are at home with lots of friends!
When you are gone your dog sits at home alone, bored and inactive, waiting your return. Wouldn't it be great to come home at the end of the day to a tired, but very happy, dog? Don’t want to leave your puppy in a crate for 8 hours? Does your dog need to work off “winter” weight or do you just want to keep them in shape? English Acres can help you with all of these concerns! We understand how important your dog is to you. We want to help increase the human animal bond and keep you and your dog stress free!
Dogs are also extremely social animals and require lots of attention and exercise. Daycare helps improve their socialization skills with other dogs and people, provides plenty of exercise and is a great option for dogs who suffer from separation anxiety, boredom or those who need to lose weight or want to stay in shape.

Please be advised This is a home based business. We ask that you let me know you are coming before you come out. If we do not know you are coming, we may not be here to help you. We do not keep traditional 9-5 hrs as dogs require more than that and we work the business approximately 12 hours a day. The dogs are supervised outside and inside while here. They are separated for nap and meal time. We have set drop off and pick up times so we can make the most of our day with your dog, if you will not be able to pick up or drop off your pet during the times we have we do offer a pet taxi service. If you do not want a taxi service you will need to come the next day. If you come outside of your scheduled time there is an additional charge if you contact English Acres staff first! Please respect our scheduled times and our need for notification of schedule changes. We do work very hard at trying to accommodate everyone’s needs and understand flight delays and that life just does not always go as planned. We reserve the right to refuse any dog that demonstrates aggressive behavior or behavior that is not suitable to English Acres.
